Does my roof need to be replaced before installing solar?
If the roof has less than 10 to 15 years of service life remaining, it usually makes sense to replace or restore it first so the array does not have to be removed for roofing work later. We evaluate this on every project.
Will solar panels void my roof warranty?
Not when the attachment is designed and installed to the roofing manufacturer’s requirements. Because we install both, we keep the roof warranty intact.
Can solar be installed on a multi-family building?
Yes. Apartment and condominium rooftops are well suited to solar, and community solar programs in Maryland and DC open additional options for multi-family owners.
